At the crossroads of East and West, a city teems with global diversity, celebrating the scale of populations that live by the water's edge in the Asian cities of Singapore, Hong Kong and Shanghai. By day and by night the colours blend and fuse from the light generated by vast billboards and colourful neons boasting advertisements coercing you to spend more money in order to live a better life. Seen from offshore, the city becomes mirrored in the dark space of the water, a sea flowing with moving colours, populations ebbing and flowing to the rhythms of bright lights. The city is a moving mosaic generating complex patterns and shifting scales captured in the moment, just one part of the global mosaic.
