We recommend that you pack clothes that are casual and comfortable. Pack sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat, medications, comfortable walking shoes and phone chargers. There is no special dress code for travel to Egypt, the only thing to consider is to wear modest and respectful clothing when visiting religious sites. Egypt doesn’t have an especially strict dress code, but both men and women are expected to dress modestly to some degree. When we visit a mosque, out of cultural respect for their sacred space, we will take off our shoes and women will need to cover their hair with a scarf. So, women please pack a scarf that will cover your hair.
